Notes

Great spot to take a beginer as smolt are released from the hatchery in the early spring.

The best action is with either nymphs (san juan worms, poxyback pmd nymphs, prince nymphs, red copper johns, etc) or dry flies (PMD emergers, parachute adams, yellow humpy, etc) for the trout-sized (10-14 inches on average) steelhead smolts.

Probably best to hit this at 350cfs. Once the flows go up (and they will through July), find another river to fish.
