took weeks in the am. hot as hell. missed a nice red in the early am on topwater. they were thick in shallow, as were shrimp. I didn't cast and weeks is limited skillwise, still hooked up with a slot red and some more missed. probably could have caught more if I'd fished. did catch two sheepies under outside bridge pilings when tide was slowed between 8 and nine.
