Notes

My wife and I fished Green Peter today. It was a good day to be on the lake. We started fishing at 10:30 and quit at 5:00. It started off slow after about an hour I caught a 10 inch Kokanee. Then My wife caught the biggest fish of the day. She did not want to hold the fish for a picture. So I had to do it. It was a 20 inch Chinook. The fish was caught on this I call it a Green Peter Speical. Then I caucht a 12 inch Kokanee. We trolled around for awile with no luck so we took a bathroom break about 2:00 We ran strait across the lake and started troling. About 15 Min. I hooked a Large Chinook I lost it after a good fight. The fish shook it head a lot and work the hook free. I thing it was bigger than my wifes fish. I hooked it on a Vance's Tackle Spoon S1 Blue/Pink
About 5 min. later my wife hooks a very large Kokanee. 16". There are three sizes of kokanee this year 10, 12, and 16 inch fish. The Chinook was a fat fish not skinny like last year. The meat was pale almost white. I have herd and seen that last year. My wife caught the 16 inch Kokanee on Crystal Basin Tackle Hoochie Thing Blood Shad. The trolling speed was 1.2 mph. iT WAS A GOOD DAY i DO NOT kNOW WHY WE WERE HOOKING LARGE FISH BUT IT WAS FUN.
