Notes

Ice fished by Paul's spot on the way to the island. No luck. One trap with a wad of worms, down the column. Jigged with a waxie and worms, to no avail.

Met Roy and his son Jack. Ashland native. Fishes all around as a kid. Told me in soft water, stay by the road side of the lake. Use marshmallows, Powerbait and mealworms for trout. Can kill them there. A deep hole in that area. Or maybe that deep hole is good for the bass he gets there. He fishes after work around 4pm on. Use wacky worms to catch the bass.

Ashland Reservoir is good too. By the spillway. By the damn/dike, left side? Pass it all.

Whitehall, fantastic, need a boat.
