Notes
Peak of high tide, water level was incredibly high. Walked down slowly to the steps by the bridge and made a long cast to the far corner of the bridge. 2 reels and wham! a huge brown takes it and goes on a series of digging runs. He tried to get under the stairs and I played him up nicely onto the bank. Beautiful fish. Walked down and fished more with no luck. Could not reach the spillway as the water was to high. Did however run into mr. snapping turtle as I tried to explore the backwaters of the river.
