Notes

(Wanning Crescent Moon) Tried the BH Woolly Bugger right of to start. Tried the run under the bridge and the pools to the NE of the bridge. Nothing for about 30min. changed over to a Cicadas seeing as that seemed to be the only thing on the water surface at the time. I had no visual sightings of any fish hitting the surface but really would have thought the BH Bugger would have taken care of the fish if they had run to deeper water, but nothing.
Started to get some surface breaks a little after 1 and changed over to the only "Dry" Fly I could mimic. I used a muddler minnow as a dry fly. Fishing it dry for about 10ft and logging it with water then pulling it in for the remainder length as a streamer. First cast with the change provided a hit. Pulled a redeye bass in then cast again. Pulled in another redeye. Caught one more after that then had to leave. The change over made the trip. I was getting worried.
