Notes
Headed out for a few hours to a small deep clear water pond with Zspook to try for some smallmouth. Fished from 10:00AM to noon . Picked up a dozen nice smallies running in the 2 to 2.5lb range nothing huge but good quality bass. Water temps was 53 degrees, jerk baits and creature baits and spinnebaits were the weapons of the day .
Then decided to head to pond #2 shallow pond half way , same weapons , water temp a little warmer at 55 degrees , but not a sniff. Decided to call it a day after just 1.5 hours. Home by 2:30 to work on the the big water boat.
