Notes

Clouds were roling through on this date with wind. Looked stormy and like tornato weather. Air was cooler than the practice period. Ran all the way to Harrison Bay to catch fish I found in practice with no luck. Ran to Soddy Daisy and caught limit under first bridge waiking a bomber long a on top. Water was clear here and was full of shad and ky bass. Had limit in 10 minuites. Stayed there for 2.5 hours and could not cull up. This was around 11:45 when I left this area. Then ran to mouth of blast off creek in Dayton in slaugh and threw rattle trap Strike King Red/Yellow pattern and culled up to 17.9 pounds. Fish were on the bank spawning and chasing shad. Fish were so shallow I got my boat stuck in the mud and couldnt move it. Caught fish in practice in slough across from cotton port with George Brock and should have fished that area as well for being this time of year instead of going south and throwing jerk baits. Seen Joe Leanard fishing big rip rap bank off points in front of nuclear steam plant. He said he won on swim bait and bama rig at 25 pounds. This was the date I helped Brad Burkhart fill his limit. Andy was my partner.
