It seems that Berry was stocked on Friday - something the website declined to inform us about. As usual the fish had gone deep after being smashed all through the weekend. There were the usual improvised rod-rests on the shore but only two other people fishing.
Without a trout rig, I threw a Kelly's bass worm into cover with absolutely no hopes of catching a bass. I was, in fact, correct in this assumption. April kicks off the way March sputtered out . . .
