Notes

Awesome pods feeding very boldly. I made casts of less than 20 feet and could not spook them. They were all over the cripple BWO's, which I had to emulate with a parachute Adams and parachute BWO fished wet in the film. 6X tippet made this a difficult game and I snapped off or lost most fish. Very much a finesse game, but worth every cast. Stock up on the cripples and the 6X, because they do not want the dry flies.

At this flow, the extensive bar at Tillage is now covered with about a foot of water. Substantially different due to higher flows (finally) this spring, shifting sediments. Not much moss at all this high up in the river.

Tried the river left bank at Sheep Creek bridge, but that's more of a summer hopper thing. Did hook up on streamers a few times, but lots of moss right now. Moving fast at this flow.
