Notes
Sporadic blue winged olives and very occasional caddis. Fish were on the substantial midge hatches today and the small nymph dropper was working. I used the Lightening Bug and RS2 but needed smaller sizes (and more of them). T-Bone used smaller Zebra and fared better. I need to sit down at the bench and tie a few dozen small nymphs, as well as #4 Elvis Buggers heading into November.
Landed 4 fish and snapped off at least another 5. Missed or lost a few others. Should have gone 5X (4X?) for the dropper and used my 4wt rod.
