Notes
First time up to the Croton since probably 2015 or 2016. Warmer than normal winter day so I started around noon. The stream was low at about 80 cfs. Made new friends with Jeff Fleming from Long Island. Jeff was fishing with Doug Ernst, whom I had met on the Carmans River about 4 years ago. Doug taught me a ton in the brief time we had spent together then, and he taught me some more during this outing. Didn’t get much fishing in, but was shown around the stream and given many great pointers. Jeff seems to be a really proficient euro nympher. I would love to be able to fish with them more in the future.
