Notes
Tyler, Eddie and I fish section 1 of Dukes yesterday with marginal luck. Tyler caught two nice fish one right in front of the conference center and the second in the "Rock hole". I fought one in an obscure hole that I had never fished before and unfortunately, the fish won. It took me so far downstream that I couldn't keep up and ultimately broke off. Eddie fought one in the pavilion hole that also broke off. Eddie did manage to catch a couple of small browns in the pavilion hole.
The morning bite was very slow; I'm assuming because it was so cold. It was 31 degrees with a fairly strong breeze. The bite picked considerably after lunch.
We will be back in March.
