Notes
It was getting down into the high 30's that weekend at night, so fishing was going to be slow. Target was steelhead, which we didnt see one of. Sam did hook something giant, but we realized it could have been a carp. This idea came about the next day when Sam hooked a Carp and landed it.
Saturday I hooked one 10-12 inch rainbow in the middle of dead drifting a small mayfly nymph with beaded head. It spit the hook before getting it to net. Walters and Clark both hooked one or two smaller fish as well.
There were very tiny white bugs on the water most of the afternoon. So small it was hard to tell what they were, but we mostly agreed they looked like tiny white caddis flies. There were some takes on the smallest white caddis any of us had.
