Notes
The first outing of the trip. Karl, Eric and I fished the outlets of the Tanalian River (multiple mouths). I had success using a fast sinking line cast across the current and letting the fly swing down until it was parallel with the current. If I didn't have any fish on by then I stripped it in at a medium pace.
I caught 8 but lost 10 or so. Lots of very pretty grayling. Karl caught a small lake trout as well as multiple grayling.
