Notes

6Bass 2Pike 1RB (Long trip. Nothing at SPSI. Caught a dink, then a 35-37" pike at the GOMH. on the Vixen. I played the pike to exhaustion and hand landed it. Should have revived in the livewell because it bucked and got away, so no pictures. I had a 3-pounda slam me at the NE Intersection Point, but that was it for bass action. I missed some fish on a Slither Rig up by shore and took a phone call from Pete as I worked the reeds. I went out and did some scouting on Sully with the Garmin. Nothing at the hump. But I did find some hard bottom over towards the reeds where I got a bass. Missed a bite. First time I ever used SI to identify and catch fish. Got a dink along the reed edge on the Poison as well as a pike and rock bass on a KVD Swim Jig. I went back to the Intersection and SPRO, nothing was going on top, so I started punching. Missed the first 5 for so bites, but finally got a 2.75lber punching the center of a mat (took pic). Maybe missed one more bite and called it a day.)
