Notes

7Bass 3Pike (Got a 2lber and a pikein the reeds at SPSI. Also lost a better fish in the reeds. Got a 2lber that hit like a four on the Jackhammer off the point. Nothing at GOMH; a boat ran through about 10 minutes before I got there. I got a bass walking the red Bully Wa 2 at Doubles Point. Then a long stretch of nothing until I got a hot 3lb pike fishing my Old Juice. shortly after that, I dropped a four or 5lber at my feet. Total buzzkill worked my way back to the NE Point Cattails and went and looked for my KVD Swim Jig that came off the clip. Couldn't find it, so maybe a fish got it. think I got one bass as I worked back out of the reeds. Tried Todd's school. Didn't get a bite. Did catch a fish casting way into the junk. I thought the fish would be out on the wind-blown edge, but nope. Had a couple more boils but no more hooked fish. I kept believing in a bite that never came. frustrating. I called it quits at 1.30 PM. It was a long morning on the water.
