Notes

7Bass 2Pike 1Rock Bass (A trip that was great for learning, not so great for catching, or my FPH average. Nothing at SPSI. Got a bass at the GOMH on the Jackhammer. Fish just wouldn't bite on top today with the high pressure. Lost some bites on the KVD Swim Jig in the reeds. Decided to do some fishing out deep. Lost 3 or 4 bites on the Football Jig right away. Nothing on cranks which was a clown show which ended with my cutting at the spool on consecutive casts. Did throw some casts on the Mojo Cranker, but I think the braid is a little too thick. didn't even think about the Tatula Chatter Rod, duh. Eventually went to the reeds. Caught a PLS and Rock Bass. Went in and got some dock fish and learned what a dream the Tatula Elite 6'9" Dock Rod is. Unfortunately, I got sucked into the slop, and topwater was just not working this day. I got the one bass on the Sparrow, and it was the only bite I got. Had to quit because the troller was about out of juice. That last boat lane does look juicy. I will have to give it a try pretty soon.)
