Notes
I arrived at noon. There was a BWO explosion during a light rain that started about 1pm. Saw only 1 small fish and almost caught it, it wiggled loose. Smallest fish on a dry was 14", largest was 16". I probably could have caught more fish but I was determined to catch all of the fish in this stretch. I threw everything I had at em. There was 1 that I targeted that I never got. The BWO cripple seemed to be the hit with the picky eaters. I hooked a 16 incher on the cripple and 8 feet of 7x tippet on a 9 foot leader after trying for about 30 minutes with other patterns. I had another 16 incher jump big 4 times for me. I caught a very thick 18 incher on the bloody murder just before leaving.
