Notes
Lost 2 poppers on very large fish that I wasn't prepared to fight. Learned a lot this time about where, what, and how to fish. Ended up catching most on poppers during high sun hours. Lost several after getting wrapped in the weeds with too much line out. Started fishing shorter range, only out to about 20 feet or less. Best fishing was later in day when the big fish were actively feeding on clumps of damselflies. Ended up fishing a new part of the lake when I couldn't find any fish over the 1 pound range on the North end. There was no one else fishing this area, and all of the fish were larger, 3#+. Floating black/white dragon pattern would have probably worked well. I saw several large fish come out of the water chasing flies.
