Notes

Got up late, decided to head out to Lake Juliette for some fishing before the rain sets in. Launched at Holly Grove Ramp, muddy, muddy, muddy.
But we were able to mark some bait and some fish. Headed toward the plant for some down lining with jumbo shiners and trout. (Oh, did not get on the water until 11:30am.) Cloudy and cold at first, the sun showed himself for about 15 mins. Slightly windy throughout the day. Stained water around the power house and south end of the lake, north end is muddy!
First fish was just north of the power house (shiner) 6lbs. Checked out a few coves, find bait and fish. Caught 9 fish total. The biggest 13lbs. (trout) Did not boat one fish which was a monster on an 8in trout. (came off), 3 fish were caught on trout, the rest on shiners. Down size equipment to light spinning gear and small hooks. It was a blast, the 13lber took about 7-8mins to get to boat. It was an awesome day!!! I have only been fishing this lake for about 4 months and it has been one of the best lakes I have ever fished.
